We open the scene with Ryan Rivera making his way to the EAW arena. He walks with his trademark duffle bag slung over his shoulder. Although dressed casually his facial expression radiates of the seriousness of what his career is to become. A large crowd awaits him as he makes his way to the double doors of the EAW arena. He stops for a second as a child holds up a poster of Ryan in his younger days. The mask he wore so many years ago has still found a way to haunt him, and at this point Ryan has been pushed to the edge. He grabs the poster crumpling it up with both hands. Not a single word is said as he makes eye contact with the child. The crowd grows angry as he tosses the crumpled piece of paper in the opposite direction.
He pushes his way passed the masses of the now angry fans making his way inside of the building. He passes several workers and fellow EAW superstars but his facial expression never changes for a moment. Ryan Rivera has tunnel vision and there is only one thing on his mind, his shot at being the number one contender for the IMPACT championship. Suddenly Victor Rivera is seen walking up looking face to face with his son, A sarcastic dark tone fills his voice now as he begins the conversation.
Ryan Rivera: Hey Dad, nice of you to stop by. Security didn't give you any trouble did they?
Victor Rivera: After you making a fool out of me last week I should beat the living crap out of you and the rest of those thugs you call wrestlers.
Ryan Rivera: Say what you want, but tonight i'm going to change the face of this company. All that crap you fed me about Puerto Rico being the place where legends are born is done. Tonight i'm reborn in that ring and I'm going to become a legend right here in the US, but you are right...these people aren't wrestlers. They are just a bunch of thugs who have to resort to bats and barbed wire just to squeeze by. Can you imagine what i'm going to be able to do with them once I get my hands on something like that? All the things that held me back before are gone and now I'm going to destroy every single person in this company one by one.
Victor Rivera: Ryan what the hell is wrong with you? You aren't even the same person anymore!
Ryan Rivera: No i'm not...i'm something better, something that everyone should strive to be. The only thing I care about is winning, and one way or another i'm going to do everything I can to win that match even if it kills me.
Victor Rivera: If you go through with this you'll never be able to live this down. Your talent will be wasted and then what? Then what do you do?
Ryan Rivera: I'll do what I always do. i'll continue to break away from that damn mask I inherited from you and i'll make everyone see that I am the best in the world! and i'll do it all on my own. When I finally do win that title it will all begin and you're going to see everything you could have had in this business, everything that you were too afraid to pursue.
Victor Rivera: You've lost your damn mind! If you want to be an ungrateful brat then so be it, but when you are left scarred in a bloody mess don't come crying back to this family. If you go through with this you aren't my son.
Ryan laughs surprisingly looking amused.
Ryan Rivera: Maybe that's for the best. Because if I ever see that F****** stupid luchador mask again I'm really going to lose it. You think you helped me in my career? Do you think you did me some favor passing your crappy gimmick down to me? Do you think I care what a bunch of washed up luchadors think about me? The truth is you aren't even a has-been Dad you're a never was...
Victor Rivera pushes his son against the wall now holding him up by the collar of his shirt. Ryan can be seen only growing angrier as he is face to face with the man who has controlled his career his entire life.
Victor Rivera: You listen to me and you better make sure you hear me loud and clear. If I have to get in that ring and kick your ass myself I will! You do whatever you want but you don't ever disrespect family tradition! I have done more in this business than you have even thought about, and if you keep up with the sh*t I will end your career myself! Do you understand me!?
Ryan's breathing is heavy as he tries to control his rage. He glares at his father speaking in a rugged tone.
Ryan Rivera: Yeah...I Understand...
Ryan is let go and adjusts his clothing. As his father turns to walk away Ryan picks up a folding chair and begins his attack. Several swings to the older mans head are taken. He finally discards the chair but he is far from over with his attack. Mounting the lifeless body he begins a series of punches with his once white shirt showing trickles of blood. He takes his hand running it over his face and back down leaving a trail of blood. The iron taste of the red liquid makes the young man grin evily. Security is finally alerted as Ryan is held back by several guards. His eyes are wide open and in a tranced state.
Ryan Rivera: THERE WILL BE BLOOD! KUK KILLSWITCH! SURGE! SUICIDE FATE! JAYRON MILLS! I SWEAR TO YOU ALL THERE WILL BE BLOOD!
His screams echo throughout the halls as he is still being forced away by the group of security guards. Ryan Rivera has finally snapped and it is clear that at Collision win or lose, there will be blood....
