[The camera fades in from black onto the site of TJ Pain sitting on a locker room bench dressed in a pair of plain black trunks, black kneepads, black boots with black kickpads with his last name going down the front and a grey t-shirt with the acronym "JAW" on it. He is in the middle of the seemingly age old wrestling ritual of taping up his fists in black athletic tape.]
Pain: "Sometimes you have to go back. Sometimes you have to go way back to the beginning of it all. For me that means going back to the independents. Going back to where my short career began. Now this isn't the place where I got my start. That place died a long time ago. This is a place where my good friend, Kuk Killswitch, is a living legend. This is JAW. He told me I had a little rust last week so I should come here for a little bit of a refresher. Right now I'm waiting to go out in front of five hundred people and teach some poor asshole what it means to pay your dues in this business but I just wanted to take some time and address David Dreadful and I want him to hear me loud and clear."
[Emphatically, Pain rips the tape on his hand free of the rest of the roll. He gives his elbow pads a good slap and stands up.]
Pain: "David who the Hell are you to go and say that you made me famous? Not longe before I met you I was the undefeated PWA United States Champion and was knocking off challengers the likes of Devon Stone, Dravaka Drimstone and Danger Lou. I was the mid-card champion but was also the guy everyone wanted to beat while also being in the middle of my second reign as the EAW IMPACT Champion at the same time. Not long after that run I was in another company called NWW as their Intercontinental Champion and not long after that I was the World Heavyweight Champion while also holding the EAW Television Championship. I was the guy that was wanted in every company. What were you? A Sad looking little cross dresser that was being favored by his boss. Yeah I said it. Juice Jackson gave you everything you wanted. Huge House, title shots, everything. How comfortable was it under his desk? I guess not so much because you went and ran to EAW where all you managed to do was have a feud with Chelsea and win a mid card title. Where was I? Oh yeah, feuding with my best friend and my brother over the World title. You have no substance to your claim of making me famous."
[Pain laughs to himself a moment before marching out of the locker room and out into the hallway of a community recreational center. Various independent, no name wrestlers stand there conversing as TJ walks through. They all give him sideways looks that are based on his reputation of being a complete ass. He ignores them and keeps talking.]
Pain: "You see these jobbers, David? They all kind of remind me of you. They're all dumb, have next to no talent and not a single one could beat me. You know, I'm not too happy about being in a room surrounded by a bunch of Dreadful wrestlers. Gives me this queasy feeling down in my stomach like when you drink a lot of beer on an empty stomach. I hate that feeling. That feeling makes me mad. So mad I could just..."
[TJ turns and punches one of the wrestlers square in the nose, laughing as he falls to the floor unconscious and the others protectively surround him.]
Pain: "Just punch somebody. Look, Davey boy, it's almost show time for me so I'm going to make this short. You were a no body two years ago and now only because of the fact that Chelsea Armstrong is even worse than you are you something now. What that something is I don't know but just know that this week I am going to break you down and after Michael James beats you next Sunday I am going to bury you under the very shit storm you're attitude has caused. There's no way around it, David. I'm going to beat you this week, Michael is going to get to choose the most violent kind of match he can think of and then you are going to fall short of that World Title again. Then either Kuk or Kareem is going to win the Hybrid Championship and I'm going to put Chelsea in a home for the brain dead. The U.N. is going to run the EoV and there is nothing that anyone can do about it. Now, if you will excuse me."
[Pain is now just behind a black entrance curtain placed inside the double doors to a gym. He stands there and waits for his theme, "I am Hated" by Slipknot, to play before walking out to an explosion of hatred from the local fans. The camera watches through the curtain until it falls closed and then fades to black.]
