===You would assume that after being defeated in your debut match, that it would send someone on a route to talk down to their opponent; tell them that what had transpired was a fluke, that it wont happen again. Not Vincent Hale. Its 'not' the sort of person that he is---whilst he 'is' somewhat disappointed with the end result, he gives all credit to Bonham:: stating that it was just a case of Dallas taking an opportunity; using it to acquire the ultimate victory. It happens in wrestling, as Hale has evidenced over the years---the task now, is to find the best way how to bounce back; recover. He has the chance to do just that this week, even if its in the context of a tag team match, seeing as he and Valentine will be up against Dallas and Valance, in a match that hasn't received as much publicity as some people thought that it would.
Not that it bothers Hale, because he's never been one to pay all that much attention to the public reaction:: he'd much rather just focus on the match itself. You know, the one thing that wrestlers 'should' be focused on, moreso than anything else. Currently, Hale is seated on a brown leather one-seat sofa, that has an oak base; wearing a black shirt, jeans that are being held up by a brown leather belt (with a gold buckle) as well as white Nike athletic shoes. A slight smirk is across the man's face, as he allows a few calm breaths to float into the air, followed by a soft laughter.===
"I lost; thats all there is to it," his voice soft and sincere, you can tell that Hale is surprisingly unfazed by the end result to his debut match. "No excuses 'should' be made, nor will i be making any,". "Dallas deserves all the credit for seizing the opportunity that he was given; using the situation to his advantage, in order to walk out with the victory," softly smirking on the right side of his mouth, Hale ponders what to say next. He isn't the sort of person that's short of words---or topics to speak about. "Yes, I got pinned, I'm not gonna run from that at all," pausing, a calm feel begins to float throughout the air. "In fact, it made me note that Bonham has the winning mentality---the ability to continue going hard, when others would have probably given up,". "I respect that about him; it's an admirable quality to have,".
"One that will help you in this cut-throat business, if you're able to harness it correctly---use it to your advantage," Hale's words float into the air, informing people that he's doing this to help everyone understand the innate workings of wrestling. Things they mightn't have otherwise been able to learn. "It's one thing to have that mentality, but it's another to be able to pull it out at the right time,". "To be able to use it, when your back is completely against the wall; you have nowhere that you can truly go," It's a lesson that Vince himself, has had to learn in the past.
One that he has taken in his stride, used to his advantage at points during his career. "Dallas did just that against me, no doubt. The question is:: can he continue to do it? Can he find it again, or was last week simply a case of 'not wanting to lose your debut match'?". "I sincerely hope that it wasnt the latter, as you'll be eaten alive if it was. I learned that the hard way, coming through the business," the smile that crosses his face reveals that whilst this might not be what people wanted to hear, it's what 'needed' to be told.
What 'needed' to be mentioned, so that the truth can come into the open. "Now, you might brush this off; I aint got no problems if you do, as it's up to you how you treat this advice," winking, he knows that Dallas will surely be listening to every word that he has to say, figuring out just 'how' to decipher the comments:: take what needs to be taken and use that. "After all, it's secondary to you doing what you do in the ring," a slight change in tone, reveals a serious hint behind the pointed words. Behind what Hale has commented so far.
===Where others are looking for an angle from which to construct this as 'trash talk', Hale simply hopes that Dallas takes this for what it is. That being, simple advice, which will hopefully send Bonham in the direction that he needs to follow. That he needs to be continuing down, if he wants to remain successful in the EOv---and by extension, wrestling in general. Its easy to misinterpret the wording that Vincent uses, but he has an honest respect for Bonham. He sees Dallas as the sort of person that talks trash, but backs it up (in a similar vein to the world champion, Michael James). Whilst Hale isn't one to care about the trash-talk, he does care about what the two have shown in the ring---it's why he is more focused on Bonham than Valence:: he knows Dallas, he doesn't know his partner.===
"Dallas, you know what both Marco and I bring to the table," gesturing to himself, then a vacant space to represent Marco, a slight smirk leaves his face. "To some, that gives you an advantage, but there's always going to be little wrinkles that are thrown into strategies on a week to week basis,". "Those wont be known, until you actually step into the ring; compete. It's the same with you---just like Valence will have a strategy and Marco will have a strategy," he calmly lets out a soft breath, simply thinking about the fact that he knows what's ahead of him. The task that he has to confront; the fact that the best preparation is done, when the match is being competed in. "The key is making sure that you stick to that strategy; make sure that you dont deviate from it, to the point where it clouds you. To the point where it makes you realize that you arent able to continue upon the route, and rush into making a critical mistake," a sly grin hides the pointed venom behind the words. "It happens to us all---it's what we do when it does, via our actions---that matters most,".
"That decides whether the changes will succeed, or fail miserably," Sighing, Vincent remembers the times that he had to change his game at a moments notice. How doing so, is much easier said than done, something that he accepts. Something that he actually relishes it being, as it allows him to figure out what works; what doesnt. In a practical environment. "All four of us have that to deal with:: I accept it's just as relevant to me, as it is to you,". "Call it all you want, but just like last week---all it will come down to, is that one moment," pulling out a cigarette and zippo lighter from the pocket of his jeans, Hale lights one up and places it to his mouth. "That one mis-step, that can change the course of a match,". Smirking, he prepare to state his mantra, after blowing a plume of smoke into the air; clouding the visual image. "Words are meaningless now---the actions we take, are what shall remain permanent,".
